About Me
With a family background in the design industry, I became interested in creating & manipulating graphics at a very early age. Soon afterwards my interests spread out into web design and computer programming.
A combination of skills in both creative and problem solving disciplines has given me a unique outlook on how to create simple user-centric web applications.
My qualifications include a Certificate in Computer Networking and Optical Communications from The Institute of Technology Carlow, a National Diploma in Computer Systems Management and a BSc (hons) in Information Technology Management.
Through my interest in Scouting Ireland I was introduced to web design in 1999 and helped setup some online community forums. From there, I began to study dynamic web development. At first with ASP and then onto PHP and ColdFusion.
Whilst studying in college, I won a number of academic awards, namely The IT Carlow Award for Academic Excellence in 2003 and the Business & Technology Centre Award in 2004.
Throughout college, I worked part-time on website projects and other online ventures. Due to the large amount of interest and an over-whelming demand on my time I started trading as Webstrong Internet Solutions in 2005 and went full-time into web application development.
